At MXIS, the focus of our programme is to demonstrate a balance of creativity, activity, and service experiences, as well as the quality of the CAS experiences or projects you choose and your reflections on them.
Majority of your CAS requirement should be achieved in your Grade 11 (IB Year 1), with some activities ongoing into Grade 12 (IB Year 2). This facilitates completion of course deadlines and the exam preparation for the mock exams in March and the final one in the May session.
It is the role of the CAS coordinator and the advisers to monitor your progress and to give advice throughout your CAS journey. It is your responsibility to complete the CAS components of the IBDP Programme through effective planning, time management, and self-discipline.

- CAS should continue regularly (one hour per week), for at least 18 months with a reasonable balance between creativity, activity, and service.
